MCA status
Is MCA working right now?
We check the MCA21 portal from our own servers, the same way you would use it: logging in and opening a company's public documents. Here is what we found, in plain words.
Checking MCA…
What each status means for your request.
Working normally
On MCA you would see
You can log in, search and download documents on MCA as usual.
What NyayAssist does
Your request runs straight away.
Slow
On MCA you would see
Pages load slowly and downloads may stop half way.
What NyayAssist does
Your request still goes through. It may take longer, and we retry any document that stops half way.
Login not responding
On MCA you would see
MCA's sign-in page does not load or does not accept a login, so nothing else can be done.
What NyayAssist does
Your request waits and we keep trying the login. You do not need to do anything.
Down
On MCA you would see
The portal does not open, or shows an error or a maintenance notice.
What NyayAssist does
Your request waits and is retried. If MCA does not come back in time, the credit returns to your wallet.
Questions
Do I need to send my request again when MCA comes back?+
No. A request that cannot finish waits and is retried on its own. You get an email when it completes.
Am I charged if MCA is down?+
A credit is used only when the documents are downloaded. If a request cannot be completed, the credit goes back to your wallet.
Why is MCA often slow at the end of a month?+
Many filings fall due around the same dates, and the portal gets busy. It is often slower then, and around announced maintenance.
Is this MCA's own status page?+
No. NyayAssist is independent of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. This page shows what our own check of the MCA21 portal found.
